Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: June 20, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy governs how you may use gotosignal.com.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms & Conditions. It applies to everyone who uses our platform, including account holders who create and deploy business profiles and visitors who view them. By using gotosignal.com, you agree to this AUP.
Prohibited Content
You may not create, upload, post, store, or share content that:
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or promotes illegal activity;
- Infringes any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of others (see our DMCA Policy);
- Is defamatory, libelous, harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, or that incites violence;
- Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors in any way;
- Contains malware, viruses, or code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to any system or data;
- Discloses another person's private or sensitive information without authorization; or
- Misrepresents your identity, affiliation, or endorsement, or impersonates any person or entity.
Prohibited Conduct
When using our platform, you may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform, other accounts, or our systems;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform, or breach security or authentication measures;
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform, including by overloading, "flooding," or denial-of-service activity;
- Scrape, harvest, or "mine" personal information about other users or visitors, or use automated means to collect data except as expressly permitted;
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the platform to third parties except as expressly permitted;
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages (see our Anti-Spam Policy); or
- Use the platform in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
Tracking Codes, Embeds, and Third-Party Integrations
Our platform lets you add analytics/tracking codes and embed third-party content on your profiles. If you use these features, you must:
- Only use tracking codes from providers permitted by our security allow-list, and only for lawful purposes;
- Comply with all applicable privacy and cookie laws (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and ePrivacy/cookie-consent rules), and provide required disclosures and obtain required consent from your profile visitors (see our Cookie Policy);
- Not use tracking to collect sensitive personal data without explicit consent, or to fingerprint, deanonymize, or surveil visitors unlawfully; and
- Ensure embedded third-party content is lawful and that you have rights to use it.
We reserve the right to disable or remove tracking codes, embeds, or content that violate this AUP, our security policies, or applicable law.
Content Moderation and Enforcement
We are not obligated to monitor content, but we may review content and may investigate suspected violations. We reserve the right, at our discretion and without prior notice, to remove or disable access to content, suspend or terminate accounts, deactivate deployed profiles, and report unlawful activity to law enforcement or other authorities. Because business profiles can be made publicly available and discoverable by search engines and AI tools, violations can have real-world impact; we treat them seriously.
Reporting Violations
To report content or conduct that you believe violates this AUP, contact us at support@gotosignal.com with a description of the issue and the relevant profile URL or location. For copyright complaints, please use our DMCA Policy.
